This album was written in 2004 and was the culmination of all my trips to India. It is very introspective, a breaking free from the self induced shell that I created. It is a combination of Sanskrit and English chants. I had actually written a full pop/rock album during my first trip to India many years prior but it did not feel authentic to who I was. I took many of the melodies that I created from this album and brought it into the Sargam production. It is an album of prayer, devotion, and opening. In Pune, India I was given the name of Atmo Sargam (which translates to : Atmo (Innermost) Sargam (Scales of Music). Which way am I going? What is your message? How I am gaging?
